About the role
- Implement and adhere to security policies set by Jenzabar's Compliance and Information Security teams
- Maintain the Rapid7 and CrowdStrike solutions used by Cloud Services
- Lead incident response efforts
- Manage vulnerability scans and track remediation tasks
- Build and monitor SIEM and FIM detections
- Manage Identity Protection and Exposure Management solutions
- Provide technical support for third party security services (e.g., forensics, penetration testing)
- Assist with regulatory compliance efforts (SOC2, PCI DSS, GDPR)
- Research and maintain proficiency in open source and commercial computer exploitation tools, attack techniques, procedures, and trends
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an information security related role, or in a development role with a strong background in system experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Hands-on experience with security technologies such as Vulnerability scanning, Cloud Technologies, SIEM, IDS/IPS, File Integrity Monitoring, Data Loss Prevention, firewalls, endpoint protection, etc.
- Experience conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., SOC2, PCI DSS, GDPR) and their implications for information security
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify security issues
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and managing multiple tasks effectively
