About the role

  • Management of freelancer contracts and ensuring all applicable documentation required is in place for recruitment and compliance processes.
  • Management of freelancer invoices, ensuring that all payments are processed in a timely manner and in line with the payment cycle.
  • Management of freelancer queries regarding onboarding, contracting and payments.
  • Maintaining professional relationships to ensure linguist retention and engagement.
  • Keeping the linguist database up to date with quality scores and proactively encouraging Language Services teams to provide feedback and contribute to processes for tracking vendor performance.
  • Assisting Language Services teams with pre-booking of resources for expected activity and upcoming scopes.
  • Assisting with linguist recruitment sourcing and screening ensuring Language Services teams requests are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Proactively develop and optimize processes and methods for tackling Localisation Recruitment processes, and make suggestions for further improvement.

Requirements

  • Applicable qualifications - degree level.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a vendor management or people operations role which involves onboarding and contract management.
  • Experience working within a creative industry, ideally within marketing and advertising.
  • Knowledge of Translation Management Systems and Language Services practices.
  • Experience using DocuSign and/or Worksome is a plus.
  • Keeps a “can do” attitude and positive thinking.
  • Excellent multi-tasking problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Culturally sensitive.
  • Proficient in English and another language is a plus.
