About the role

  • Support and development of smaller wholesale and regional customers (mini key accounts)
  • Proactive acquisition of new customers within the EDEKA structure, especially multi-branch companies we do not yet serve directly
  • Preparation and implementation of sales and listing measures (displays, shelving plans, secondary placements, promotions, range expansion)
  • Field work: You will regularly visit EDEKA stores (20–30% travel) and identify new revenue opportunities for us
  • Monitoring & reporting: keep an eye on uplifts, distribution, sell-through and key learnings

Requirements

  • Initial relevant sales experience (grocery retail / FMCG), e.g., in field sales, district or regional management, as a junior account manager, or in internal sales with ambition for field or key account roles
  • Good understanding of grocery retail structures, ideally from EDEKA or comparable retail companies (e.g., REWE, Markant)
  • Willingness to travel and a valid driving licence (Class B)
  • Strong communication skills and a confident presence
  • Hands-on, reliable, structured and able to persuade decision-makers pragmatically
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Word and Excel) and able to organise yourself independently
