About the role

  • Manage and develop smaller wholesale and regional customers (mini-key accounts)
  • Proactively approach new customers within the EDEKA structure, especially multi-branch operators we have not yet managed directly
  • Prepare and implement sales and listing measures (displays, shelf planning, secondary placements, promotions, range expansion)
  • Fieldwork: You will regularly visit EDEKA stores (20–30% travel) and identify new revenue opportunities for us
  • Monitoring & reporting: Keep track of uplifts, distribution, sell-through and learnings

Requirements

  • Initial relevant sales experience in grocery retail/FMCG, e.g., field sales, district or regional management, junior account manager, or inside sales with ambition for field or key-account roles
  • Good understanding of grocery retail structures, ideally at EDEKA or comparable retailers (e.g., REWE, Markant)
  • Willingness to travel and a valid driver's license (class B)
  • Strong communication skills and a confident presence
  • Hands-on, reliable, structured, and able to pragmatically convince decision-makers
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Word and Excel) and able to organize yourself independently
