• Own and drive mobile engineering initiatives across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with product goals and long-term technical strategy.

Principal Mobile Engineer – Core Tech

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Lead and support month-end close activities, including debt and interest calculations, intercompany processes, and exceptional cost reviews.
• Own and maintain capitalised development cost processes, ensuring compliance with internal accounting policies.
• Prepare monthly group consolidations and management accounts, including balance sheet, cash flow, and adjusted EBITDA reporting.
• Deliver quarterly covenant reporting and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare statutory accounts for all entities, including audited consolidated accounts, ensuring all filing deadlines are met.
• Proactively manage the external audit process with PwC and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely responses and accurate audit evidence.
• Support the development and maintenance of group accounting policies and procedures.
• Monitor and assess the impact of changes to accounting standards across the business.

Frontend Engineer

• Build gameplay-facing UI in Unreal using UMG, Common UI, and MVVM where appropriate.
• Create reusable widgets, frameworks, data flows, and tools that help designers iterate quickly.
• Connect UI to gameplay systems, including abilities, attributes, cooldowns, and player status.
• Refactor legacy UI into cleaner, more consistent, production-ready systems.
• Work with designers and UX to turn player-facing goals into practical Unreal solutions.
• Keep UI performant, reliable, and multiplayer-safe under complex gameplay conditions.

• Coordinate across disciplines to manage dependencies between gameplay, AI, environment, and progression systems.

• Create and implement high-quality environment assets across level art, props, and world building in Unreal Engine 5.
• Build modular kits and reusable assets to support scalable open-world development.
• Produce assets including modelling, texturing, and material creation aligned to the project’s stylised visual direction.
• Work independently across environment production, from concept support through to final in-engine implementation.
• Collaborate with art leadership and external partners to ensure outsourced content meets quality and style requirements.
• Follow established pipelines, optimising assets for performance within a large, interconnected world.
