About the role
- Manage and coordinate all activities related to the New Business Pricing or Quarterly Pricing process.
- Ensure that incoming quote packages and outgoing costed BOMs or pricing files are being analyzed and managed for timeliness, completeness, and competitiveness.
- Demonstrate leadership skills that provide both our internal & external customers an unparalleled level of service and costing solutions.
- Solicit ongoing feedback from Supply Chain & Business Development on elements that would allow us to become more efficient and cost effective.
- Effective management of support infrastructure for Quarterly Pricing or New Business activities.
- Regularly communicate activities and related deliverables.
- Actively promote best practices across the costing organization.
- Understand the Corporation/Sectors and the BU’s strategic direction.
- Review quotes and strategy with Commodity Management, Sector Technical Experts, etc., when making sourcing decisions to ensure the best possible outcome.
- Market Jabil’s Supply Chain Management expertise both internally and externally.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain or equivalent discipline preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years work related experience, preferably in electronics or mechanical procurement/supply chain.
- An APICS or NAPM certification
- Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.
- Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable company’s business goals and objectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets.
- Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint.
- Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes.
- Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
- Strong and convincing communication skills.
- Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
