About the role
- Lead impactful and highly strategic operations programs to drive sales efficiencies and productivity across our global sales organization. You will interact at all levels of the organization and will have a key leadership role working with go-to-market executives as well as other cross functional stakeholders.
- Design, implement and manage sales forecast, planning and budgeting processes that support the sales goals as well as the financial objectives, establishing a high level of accuracy and consistency
- Develop success metrics that align with go-to-market business goals for both short term and long-term planning and implement dashboards to report progress to senior management
- Facilitate regular sales forecast review meetings to ensure sales pipeline is properly aligned with business goals
- Support all strategic efforts related to both sales growth as well as cost controls by streamlining sales operations processes, tools, and mechanisms
- Actively participate in and be instrumental in all contract negotiations, renewals, and administration
- Administer all customer incentive programs ensuring timely processing according to program or contractual agreements
- Facilitate enhancements to all processes, tools and reports to support current business growth as well as adapt to future business opportunities
- Work cross functionally with all necessary departments to solve complex business problems and drive strategic planning
- Design governance processes to ensure all pricing strategies are being carried out according to the agreement defined with all customers
- Perform routine trend analysis to ensure growth objectives are on target with strategic goals
- Advise leadership on process improvements for both short term and long-term planning operations mechanisms that drive continuous improvement and growth strategies
- Create efficient and effective sales reports for the entire organization that report achievements against the strategic goals set by management
- Create executive level dashboards for period review as well as strategic business strategy meetings
- Foster collaborative relationships with all sales team members to ensure success in achieving go-to-market business goals
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all functions related to sales administration for the global industry sales theater
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: 5-7+ years of thermodynamic and Liquid cooling work experience
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Experience implementing Sales Forecasting and Planning processes, tools, and reporting
- Ability to work with all levels of management, both internal and external
- Experience leading sales team performance reviews in a multi-channel, global sales organization
- Demonstrated ability to institute root cause analyses to identify problems and provide creative solutions
- Strong communicator, establishing trust and credibility and building influential relationships with sales partners and with key participants in the sales organization
- Highly skilled in MS Excel, fluent in charting, pivot tables, dashboard development and custom macro development
- Ability to quickly adapt to a changing landscape when challenges or opportunities arise in order to rapidly realign with adjusted business goals
- Must be able to convey very complex processes in a clear manner to all levels of the organization
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor\'s Degree in a Technical field is preferred
- 5-7+ years of technical sales roles experience is preferred
- Previous Thermodynamic and liquid cooling experience is preferred
- SME in computing, storage, or networking is a plus
