About the role
- Plan, organize, and direct multi-functional engineering department to meet company objectives
- Develop and maintain the processes and methods for architecture development & documentation
- Lead, recruit, interview, and hire team members for engineering staff
- Monitor team member turnover; identify key factors that can be improved
- Identify individual and team strengths and development needs on an ongoing basis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of ten years experience required
- MSEE, MBA preferred
- Four or more years of project management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry
- Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements
- Strong financial and analytical ability
- Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
