About the role
- Advising the European sales team on all contract law issues in general commercial law and special legal topics, including regulatory issues
- Drafting and reviewing sales / supply agreements across various European jurisdictions
- Working on legal disputes
- Further development and drafting of standard contracts and structures for the European organization of JA Solar
- Training the European sales team on international commercial contract law
Requirements
- Fully qualified lawyer under European jurisdiction
- Based in Munich or surrounding area
- Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience as In-house Counsel in a multinational company
- Experience ideally in the field of renewable energy
- Strong business focus and problem-solving skills
- Capable of communicating complex issues in an easily understandable way
- Interdisciplinary ability to understand diverse topics of a global corporate environment
- Business fluent in English and German
- Strong communication skills, entrepreneurial thinking, intercultural competence, and team spirit
