About the role

  • Researches, analyzes, and reports on competitors’ products and sales practices to senior sales members
  • Gathers, analyzes and reports on market intelligence
  • Works primarily within assigned geographic territory to increase sales to established client base
  • Manages moderately complex sales accounts and transactions
  • Works independently to develop new sales accounts within and beyond designated sales territory

Requirements

  • Significant commercial experience within foodservice or a related FMCG environment
  • Demonstrated success managing distributor or wholesale customer relationships at a senior level
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including experience with forecasting, trade spend and joint business planning
  • Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to coach and develop high performing teams
  • Well developed negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation capability in a fast paced environment
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively across cross functional teams
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or a related discipline (preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM or sales reporting systems
