About the role
- Ensure compliance to Company policy, procedures, and Union Agreement (where applicable)
- Assists in auditing their facility Quality and Production processes
- Provides an assessment of plant capability identifies gaps, works with project teams and functional partners to address gaps found during audits
- Ensures that all employees are following safe practices and participating in the CARE process by being proactive in their approach to safety inside and outside of work
- Ensures that finished product quality, food safety, and overall sanitation procedures and practices are meeting specifications or standards
- Champions and supports Six Sigma processes and approaches to lean manufacturing
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from 4-year college or university
- 3+ years related experience and/or training
- Ability to support dayshift or nightshift required
- 12 hour shift cycle
- Ensure Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Plans are current, relevant, and executed effectively to prevent unsafe conditions and adulteration of product
