About the role

  • Competent point of contact for internal legal queries
  • Further development of a functional contract management system (initial focus on procurement law)
  • Review of supply chain due diligence and implementation of the requirements of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG)
  • Contract management, drafting and structuring of agreements
  • Development of contract standards using Legal Tech solutions
  • Legal monitoring, i.e., tracking current case law and communicating updates
  • Reviewing the legal permissibility of local and global marketing and advertising activities
  • Independently managing litigation
  • Selection and management of external law firms
  • Providing legal support and training for employees
  • Collaboration in the areas of Corporate Governance, Legal Affairs and Compliance

Requirements

  • Admission as a fully qualified lawyer (Volljurist) or equivalent qualification
  • Initial professional experience in a law firm or the legal department of a company
  • Broad legal expertise and a desire for continuous professional development in new areas of law
  • Strategic thinking and an understanding of finance
  • German and English proficiency, both written and spoken, are required
  • Interest in Legal Tech developments
  • High personal standards for delivering high-quality work and absolute integrity
  • Empathy, self-organization, reliability and team orientation
