Ivanti is currently seeking an enthusiastic hardworking Sr Privacy Analyst to support activities to develop and to support the organization to implement and administer Data Privacy Programs, and advocate for and support the planning of privacy initiatives throughout the organization.
Your key responsibilities will include supporting the organization to assess processing activities and internal controls, perform analysis to measure program effectiveness and compliance, and consult on privacy by design. Primary responsibilities do not include data security aspects, which are covered by the Office of the Vice President of Security.
As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for:
Nurturing a privacy-centric culture
Partnering with all key business areas to ensure data privacy risks are considered, addressed, and tracked.
Global, company-wide assessment and tracking of personal data processing activities within Ivanti products, services, and subprocessors.
Serving as a subject matter expert and best practice resource within own area of work.
Managing Data Subject Requests.
Coordinating responses to privacy-related queries.
Support legal and regulatory research.
Drafting and maintaining privacy processes and procedures.
Completing privacy-related questionnaires.
Assist was a subject matter expert for product audits and assessments.
Assist and support privacy event and incident investigations.
Assist with special projects as assigned.
Experience in a similar role with great exposure to global Data Protection and Privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SSAE 18).
Experience in the technology sector strongly preferred.
Able to use a range of communication and influencing techniques to successfully negotiate, collaborate or effect change, in relation to data protection and privacy matters with different stakeholders at all levels within the business (e.g., Operations, HR, IT, Security).
Must be a Self-starter, confident working in a distributed environment with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Able to work and learn quickly in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Appetite to be challenged and desire for continuous development.
Ability to work to regulatory deadlines sometimes under pressure, with exceptional time management, activity coordination, and prioritization skills.
Bachelor’s degree
CIPP, CIPM, CIPT or other privacy or risk and compliance related certifications a plus (i.e., CISA).
