About the role

  • Channel Business Operations Specialist implementing and streamlining processes related to interactions with channel partners
  • Perform system/configuration tasks supporting Sales Business Processes with focus on Channel systems
  • Own documentation and process mappings; manage script/template library
  • Deliver tools/process enablement including demo recordings and "train the trainer" sessions
  • Manage business user requests, queries and issues for Channel and assigned systems/processes
  • Approved IT Requestor for enhancements and projects; capture requirements, define acceptance criteria and perform UAT
  • Oversee project lifecycle for Channel system changes including tool expansion, migration and replacement
  • Track adoption, usage and compliance for Channel processes and systems
  • Maintain high-level awareness of related team systems and processes outside Channel SME area
  • Keep up to date with new technologies and industry trends to drive continual Channel systems improvement
  • Work flexibly to maximize interactions with global stakeholders; follow-the-sun coverage and occasional weekend support compensated by time off in-lieu

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or computer related field
  • 5+ years’ experience managing multi-tiered partner eco system tools/processes for a software or hi-tech company operating globally
  • Sales operations or partner program management experience is a plus
  • Proven track record designing and implementing Channel-focused business processes and tooling
  • Proven track record leading change initiatives including system migrations and integrations across multi-layered Channel structures
  • Minimum 5+ years advanced experience with Salesforce Sales, partner-focused Experience Cloud, and ancillary applications
  • Salesforce Admin Certification preferred; Admin Certification(s) for assigned tools such as Salesforce.com CRM, CPQ, etc.
  • Experience with channel solutions including EDI and partner web stores like AppDirect
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills at individual and management levels
  • Creative thinker with analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; attention to detail and flexibility
  • Proven ability to manage change and diffuse difficult situations
  • High dependability, integrity, autonomy and ability to self-motivate and prioritize
  • Experience applying AI-based tools or solutions is a plus
  • Supervisory experience in Channel Operations is a plus
