About the role
- Drive automation growth by collaborating with customers, distributors, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with the sales team on strategic account planning to secure end-user business.
- Develop impactful presentations and product demos to showcase solution value.
- Maintain clear communication with sales, distributors, end-users, and divisions.
- Partner with divisional resources to share insights on competition, innovation, and customer needs.
- Manage your territory efficiently by focusing on key accounts and activities using an 80/20 approach.
- Manage project scopes and timelines to align with business goals.
- Provide expertise across welding automation markets, including robotics, advanced welding processes, and troubleshooting.
- Support emerging technologies in advanced processes, including waveform development and communication protocols.
- Provide training and support to end-users and distribution partners.
Requirements
- BS in Welding Engineering or Welding Engineering Technology degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in welding or a related industry, with experience in robotics, controls, and advanced welding processes.
- Prior experience in sales.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and CRM system.
- Ability to travel overnight at least 60%.
