About the role
- Provide new development and O&M to support COPS application portfolio (15+ grants management applications)
- Serve as full stack developer using Microsoft ASP.Net, C#, and JavaScript
- Work with Development Team to identify and execute changes to software
- Write concise, robust, well-documented code in Microsoft ASP.Net, C#, and JavaScript
- Work with data engineers to provide database support via defined interfaces using SQL Server 2018
- Build custom controls for in-house forms engine framework
- Participate in peer review process and lend expertise to team members
- Follow established processes and coding standards and perform application development using Agile Kanban & SDLC methodologies
- Formulate/define system scope and objectives and assist with preparing specifications and system design documents
- Develop new components/modules and interface components using XML and integrate with third-party software such as PEGA Systems
- Implement SQL queries and stored procedures; write SQL scripts for importing, transforming, and exporting data
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience on one platform, multi-database, multi-language or multi-business application, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
- C#, .NET Framework, MVC, SQL Server 2018, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Visual Studio
- WCF (SOAP), WebApi (OData) RESTful Services (JSON/XML), ADO, IIS, Azure
- Unit Testing, Component Testing, Functional Testing, Mobile Development
- Expert (15+ years) C# knowledge and proficiency with .NET (CORE) Framework 4.5+ or .NET Core 4.0+ including MVC
- Expert with SQL development using SQL Required Experience (15+ years)
- Implementing web services (WebApi, SOA, WCF) - RESTful OData experience preferred
- Client-side browser development using Ajax, jQuery, React, or CSS, and HTML
- Experience designing user interactions on web pages
- Associate’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields
- Position requires a DOJ Public Trust security clearance which must be complete prior to starting
- U.S. Citizenship required in order to comply with law, regulation, executive order, or government contract
- Ability to multi-task and support multiple projects at once
