About the role

  • Location: Remote (hybrid position based in New York).
  • Responsible for analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation of Windows and web applications.
  • Add new features to existing Windows and web-based applications in Visual Studio 2019.
  • Interact with the client team independently for development activities and drive projects to completion within deadlines.
  • Perform code reviews and write unit test cases; perform thorough testing to identify issues proactively.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and user guides; stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
  • Hybrid role offering hands-on development across Windows, web, and database technologies.

Requirements

  • Impressive hands-on experience in .Net technologies, including .Net Core.
  • Impressive hands-on experience and knowledge with React, ASP.NET, C#, SQL SERVER, Web API / WCF, JQuery, XAML, Win Forms & MVC.
  • Knowledge of Visual Studio 2013, 2015, 2019 & .NET Frameworks 2.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5.
  • Strong database skills.
  • Solid understanding of front-end development principles and best practices.
  • Experience with code reviews and unit testing.
  • Excellent programming and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, judgmental, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work at the tactical and strategic levels of IT initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
