About the role

  • Negotiate teaming and non-disclosure agreements with prime contractors and subcontractors.
  • Provide proposal support to include the review of terms/conditions, completion of representations/certifications, and performance of compliance reviews.
  • Negotiate contracts, subcontracts and other agreements with prime contractors, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Support ad hoc projects, data tracking, reporting, and other due diligence requests.
  • Issue subcontract request for proposals in support of proposal efforts.
  • Support proposal preparation, submissions, response to Requests for Proposals/Quotes
  • Reviews contract awards and modifications for accuracy.
  • Draft and issue subcontract modifications reflective of prime contract requirements and in accordance with operations’ requests.
  • Develop and recommend streamlined initiatives.
  • Coordinate with operations and finance to implement contract set up in Costpoint accounting system.
  • Confirm and track insurance needs and request insurance certificates.
  • Maintain and track internal contractual reporting deadlines.
  • Ability to independently redline corporate documents/contracts.
  • Participate, enforce, contribute to process improvement activities.
  • Apply extensive and diverse knowledge to contracting matters.
  • Maintain centralized filing of all contractual documents.
  • Manage contracts actions as they are routed through internal departments for approval.
  • Input contract information into the contracts repository in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • At least 8+ years of government contracts management/administration experience with a bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of government contracts management/administration experience
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR and general government contracting standards
  • Ability to adapt to changing work assignments and shifting priorities
  • Must have strong time management skills and be able to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects/tasks
