About the role
- Maintain and update the HR system of record, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of employee data.
- Manage end-to-end new employee onboarding, including coordinating and conducting new hire orientation.
- Manage company swag inventory and coordinate distribution to employees, including onboarding and special initiatives.
- Manage all employee offboarding activities, including employee communications, system access updates, and coordination of company asset retrieval.
- Conduct employee separation interviews; analyze and summarize key themes, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Administer the HR ticketing system, ensuring employee inquiries are addressed in a timely, efficient, and customer-focused manner.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions, providing guidance on benefits, policies, and procedures, and escalating complex matters to HR Managers as appropriate.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employment and unemployment verification requests, security employment verifications and related HR inquiries.
- Support annual HR processes, including open enrollment, compliance training, and performance evaluation cycles.
- Generate and provide HR reports for auditing, compliance, and monitoring of employee data and training completion.
- Create, track, and analyze monthly HR metrics for submission to the Vice President, Human Resources; identify trends and areas of focus.
- Draft, prepare, and distribute internal HR communications.
- Coordinate receipt and distribution of company mail and packages, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the HR team across general HR functions.
- Address and resolve low-level employee relations matters in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties and special projects assigned.
Requirements
- B/A or B/S degree in related field, preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a HR Admin/Support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, word, excel, outlook and email management.
- Good working knowledge of HCM Software.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to anticipate needs and make proactive suggestions for improvement.
- Working knowledge of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
- Strong working knowledge of HRIS administration and record retention.
- Professional, positive, and confident demeanor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to form effective relationships with individuals at all levels; Demonstrated accuracy of data administration with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to demonstrate confidentiality and respect when handling sensitive issues.
- Commitment to staying current on HR laws and best practices.
- HR credentials are a plus.
