About the role

  • Execute the day-to-day activities related to UK media relations, including building relationships with press, drafting and distributing press releases, coordinating media interviews
  • Contribute to the development of thought leadership material
  • Support ISC2 executives and thought leaders
  • Create original and compelling copy for multiple communications channels
  • Collaborate and develop communications plans for various company initiatives
  • Monitor success of media relations activity

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field preferred
  • At least 6 years of experience in a Public Relations or Communications role
  • Strong computer and technical skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web applications
  • Cybersecurity PR experience is preferred, but not essential
  • Experience working with member associations or nonprofits is a plus
