About the role
- Draft, review, revise, and negotiate legal documents
- Serve as liaison between Legal department and business clients
- Provide legal advice and counsel to executives and business clients
- Research and analyze various legal issues and present results
- Assist with managing and resolving lawsuits and pre-litigation disputes
- Ensure accurate billing by outside counsel
Requirements
- Law degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Experience in intellectual property portfolio management
- Substantive experience with and knowledge of body of laws and regulations related to data privacy and security
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Office 365 applications
