About the role
- Help design and build a centralized research repository
- Organize past studies, insights, and artifacts into a searchable structure
- Develop tagging systems and taxonomy of frameworks
- Improve discoverability and reusability of research knowledge
- Create and standardize research templates
- Build reusable templates for surveys, usability testing, interview guides, and reporting structures
- Document research workflows and best practices
- Collaborate with mentors and teammates to break down ambiguous problems into clear, scoped projects you can execute on during the internship.
- Work across the stack (frontend, backend, or services) depending on team needs and your interests, with guidance from your mentor and manager.
- Instrument and monitor your work in production, using metrics and logs to understand impact and reliability, and help debug issues when they arise.
- Contribute to team culture, documentation, and best practices so future interns and engineers can build on what you’ve shipped.
Requirements
- Interest in UX research
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent degree in Social Sciences, Computer Science, Design, or a related technical field, with an expected graduation date after the internship term.
- Demonstrated experience through projects, internships, hackathons, or open‑source contributions where you used user research to influence decision-making.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and synthesis skills — you break down ambiguous problems, ask thoughtful questions, and move ideas forward collaboratively.
- Clear, kind communicator who enjoys working in cross‑functional teams and can explain translate concepts for stakeholders.
- Excited to learn about contracts, legal workflows, and AI‑powered productivity tools, even if you don’t have prior domain experience.
