  • Key Responsibilities: Effectively engage with stakeholders to understand needs, communicate progress, and align CRM solutions with program objectives
  • Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM customizations (C#/.NET plugins, workflows, and configurations)
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs that connect CRM with VA.gov and other systems
  • Contribute to frontend integrations using ReactJS and TypeScript, ensuring consistency with VA.gov’s design standards
  • Work with SQL Server to design and maintain backend data structures that support CRM functionality
  • Support CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and enforce secure coding practices
  • Collaborate with QA engineers to expand automated testing coverage for CRM integrations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance with VA requirements
  • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) to align development with program priorities
  • Stay current with Dynamics 365 Wave releases and apply relevant updates to maintain system performance

Requirements

  • Public Trust Clearance or higher (ability to obtain and maintain required background investigation)
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on full-stack development
  • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and C#/.NET development
  • Experience with SQL Server for backend data management
  • Proficiency with ReactJS and TypeScript for frontend enhancements and system integrations
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and enterprise system integration
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud environments for hosting and deployment
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices (GitHub Actions, secure code scanning, containerization)
  • Direct VA project experience and prior involvement in federal IT projects with security and compliance requirements
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum) and experience delivering software in iterative sprints
