About the role

  • Recruit, interview and select DMD Account Managers
  • Handle performance reviews, personnel issues, discipline and termination of Sales Representatives
  • Make regular field visits to develop and motivate Sales Representatives for attainment of sales objectives
  • Generate sales in line with project goals as set by Client and agreed upon by IQVIA
  • Communicate with Client field/regional managers on regular and timely basis
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of training and periodic sales meetings
  • Review and approve expense reports; monitor compliance with expense policies
  • Act as the primary link between the Client and IQVIA for all operational and human resources/personnel needs relating to the Sales Force
  • Provide monthly reports to the Client
  • Monitor compliance with Promotional Program, and proper use of Promotional Materials and Promotional Expense Budgets
  • Monitor time-keeping and attendance
  • Ability to travel overnight and possess a valid driver’s license to drive to assigned accounts, unless otherwise specified

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree (B.A., B.S. or equivalent) required
  • Minimum five (5) years combined previous management experience at the District, Regional, National level required
  • Account Management experience in a multidisciplinary setting required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Experience selling and managing selling in rare disease required; neuromuscular products preferred and Duchenne muscular dystrophy preferred
  • Experience working with a start-up or high growth organization preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to assemble and lead cross-functional teams toward a shared vision of success
  • Experience managing patient enrollment process for rare disease products and assisting direct reports with how to work with office staff to help support and simplify process
  • Demonstrated ability to execute against strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups, targeting presentation to the needs of the audience
