About the role

  • Appoint driven and experienced BD professional focused on Biotech, providing Phase I–IV services globally
  • Sell IQVIA’s integrated clinical solution portfolio across the enterprise and product lifecycle
  • Engage credibly at C‑Suite level and navigate internally to assemble expert IQVIA teams
  • Develop systematic account strategies, gather intelligence, and drive execution to identify and expand business
  • Sell and close larger, high‑value enterprise clinical deals and shift the market toward integrated solutions
  • Work collaboratively across the organisation and build trusted client relationships
  • Candidates will be based anywhere in Europe

Requirements

  • 10 years of related experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment
  • At least 10 years’ experience as a BD Director in a CRO environment
  • Understanding of the clinical process (PH I – IV)
  • Solid understanding of commercialization and the principles of drug discovery and development
  • Detailed understanding of the Biotech marketplace
  • Seniority and gravitas to engage at C‑Suite level with Biotech clients
  • Solution selling expertise and track record of leveraging organisational capabilities to upsell
  • Strong ‘hunting’ skills to open new relationships and broaden existing accounts
  • Ability to develop robust account strategies using internal, external and competitive intelligence
  • Collaborative working style and sophisticated relationship building (internal and external)
  • Established network within relevant markets advantageous
  • Drive, resilience and track record of R&D/Clinical and business development contribution in past roles
