About the role

  • Manage research projects for leading companies, uncovering and communicating key insights and actionable strategies
  • Work with project teams to determine research approach and collaborate with internal resources (IIS, DP, Coding, GMU)
  • Act as direct day-to-day client contact when applicable and build client knowledge
  • Own end-to-end execution and problem-solving for multiple projects across all life cycle phases
  • Partner on questionnaire and sampling design, questionnaire development, and project timelines
  • Monitor project budgets, communicate overages, and suggest cost-saving opportunities
  • Provide training, mentorship, and delegation to junior Analysts and Interns
  • Design sample plans, questionnaires, tab & banner plans, and analytic plans; set up and proof report shells and specs
  • Forecast updates based on project needs and outcomes; request internal/contractor support as needed
  • Respond diplomatically to operational issues and escalate when necessary

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing research experience with a focus on project management
  • Strong Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Ability to positively interact with internal support teams
  • Clear, concise written communication skills
  • Ability to easily understand and adapt to in-house operational forms, process, and software
  • Proven expertise with standard research inputs (e.g., questionnaire design, coding specs & tab plans, sample plan & quotas)
  • Proven expertise with standard research deliverable outputs (e.g., data tables, toplines, report decks, crosstabulation tools)
  • Process management and improvement
  • Proven ability to pinpoint issues (e.g., quality control, timeline slippage, scope) and manage conflicting priorities
