About the role

  • Shares documents, schedules and field updates and participates in client conversations, contributing to presentations of documents and research findings
  • Engages in broader team conversations linking past research and upcoming proposal opportunities to current research
  • Focuses on executional excellence while growing internal and client partnership skills
  • Manages custom research projects start-to-finish with some supervision
  • Interacts with clients on execution-focused tasks and contributes to basic results presentations
  • Provides pricing support and material development for proposals as requested
  • Participates in methodological considerations and recommendations as part of an account team
  • Oversees and coordinates junior team members, delegating work and providing quality control
  • Involved in analytic plans and report writing to find the story in the data
  • Executes project tasks including custom survey development, link checking, fieldwork monitoring, data processing and analysis planning
  • Provides report visualization and story-telling guidance, report population and development
  • Oversees Analysts on tasks and performs tasks under supervision of manager/senior team members
  • May act as manager to Analysts/Senior Analysts, overseeing training, day-to-day workload guidance, supervision, and feedback
  • Minor strategic thinking expected; observes senior team members and proactively seeks industry information related to client needs

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite; specifically, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness in completing all tasks
  • Ability to positively interact with internal support teams
  • Superior organizational skills, unflagging attention to detail & demonstrated commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information
  • Data savvy with a basic knowledge of SPSS and/or other quantitative reporting tools a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong client service orientation
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-faceted project budgets and to create, manage, and commit to a project plan, schedule and budget
  • Highly motivated, self-directed & possess a driven personality capable of working within tight deadlines
  • Thrives within a team environment
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills with well developed interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree, master’s level education an asset
  • At least 2 years of market research experience
