About the role

  • Provide legal counsel to the company's commercial area (sales force for the Network of Service Stations);
  • Draft legal opinions on negotiation proposals brought by the commercial team;
  • Participate in meetings and cross-functional committees aimed at approving commercial agreements, whether judicial or out-of-court;
  • Review initial pleadings, defenses, appeals, and other significant procedural documents prepared by external counsel;
  • Manage and oversee litigation and the engagement of external law firms related to the company's commercial legal area;
  • Manage contingent liabilities, recommend provisions, and prepare loss forecasts for litigation under the area's responsibility;

Requirements

  • Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB);
  • Mobility and availability to travel;
  • Knowledge of Civil Law, Civil Procedure, Contract Law, Corporate and Business Law;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications;
  • Completed law degree (undergraduate degree in Law);
