About the role
- Act as the technical and strategic lead for the B2B innovation portfolio, ensuring R&D projects are aligned with business priorities, enterprise client needs, and the generation of sustainable economic value.
- Perform market analyses, evaluate technology trends and corporate segment needs, identify innovation opportunities and support the definition of strategic priorities for the B2B portfolio.
- Serve as the technical focal point in managing the B2B R&D project pipeline, supporting decisions on prioritization, progression, redirection or discontinuation of initiatives, considering strategic impact, technical feasibility, economic return and execution capacity.
- Lead R&D projects focused on creating value for enterprise clients through innovative solutions that promote energy efficiency, sustainability and competitive differentiation, aligned with corporate strategies.
- Plan and execute technical field tests, ensuring robustness, operational reliability and regulatory compliance of developed solutions, taking into account the operational specificities of B2B clients.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical and economic feasibility analyses (business cases), in partnership with internal areas, supporting investment decisions and resource allocation within the innovation portfolio.
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships with suppliers, universities and research institutes, expanding the technological base and accelerating the development of solutions applicable to the B2B market.
- Act as the technical interface between R&D and internal areas (Legal, Marketing, Commercial, Operations), ensuring technical, regulatory and strategic alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Represent the company at sector forums, events and conferences, strengthening the organization’s institutional positioning and technical authority within enterprise segments.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Preferred: MBA in Business Management or Project Management.
- Practical knowledge of portfolio management methodologies (e.g., Stage-Gate, Scrum, and/or PMBOK).
- Advanced skills in data analysis tools (Power BI, advanced Excel, etc.).
- Advanced English (spoken and written).
- Preferred: experience in R&D within the fuels industry.
- Availability to work in a hybrid 4x1 model in São Paulo - SP.
