Project Manager

• Support companies throughout Iowa in strengthening, expanding, and retaining their revenue
• Work directly with leaders of small- to mid-sized businesses across the state to assess growth opportunities, identify barriers, and guide them through practical, high-impact strategies
• Lead engagements that may include market research, customer discovery, competitive analysis, sales process improvements, digital marketing initiatives, and new product or service launch strategies.
• Help companies build internal capabilities by facilitating training, coaching executives and teams, leading group discussions, and coordinating subject-matter experts.

Administration

• Independently review, analyze, develop, negotiate, and execute contracts and agreements
• Ensure compliance with ISU internal policies, sponsor guidelines, and federal regulations
• Serve as a resource to faculty, staff, and grant coordinators
• Analyze requests for subrecipient agreements including risk assessment and subrecipient monitoring
• Communicate with faculty, staff, sponsors, and sub-recipients
• Arrange and lead meetings to discuss award/subcontract terms and conditions
• Ensure award and negotiation data are accurately entered into OSPA database systems
• Collaborate with various university offices to ensure award compliance

Senior Award Administrator

Strategy

• Work directly with manufacturing leaders across Northwest Iowa to improve business performance
• Focus on building deep, trusted relationships with owners, CEOs, and presidents
• Gain a clear understanding of each company’s strategic, operational, and technical challenges
• Educate clients on industry research and best practices
• Identify opportunities for meaningful change
• Scope and develop tailored solutions
• Connect companies with the right CIRAS experts and partners
• Play a hands-on role throughout implementation to ensure measurable results
• Contribute to CIRAS programs, services, and outreach efforts that strengthen Iowa’s manufacturing sector.
• Required to travel to clients within the Northwest Territory three to four days a week.

Recruitment

• Coordinate undergraduate recruitment efforts in the greater Houston, Texas area.
• Engage with prospective students, families, school counselors, and community partners to promote Iowa State and guide students through the admissions process.
• Manage recruitment activities within your territory, including school visits, college fairs, and virtual or in-person meetings with students and families.
• Use data and outreach strategies to plan effective recruitment efforts, build strong relationships with key partners, and support students as they explore Iowa State.
• Participate in on-campus recruitment events and training.
