About the role
- Act as the primary lead for Workday HCM, Reporting, and Performance.
- Manage the full lifecycle of application solutions, from initial requirement gathering to deployment and release management.
- Configure and optimize Workday across all modules, including HCM, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Help, Journeys, Talent, and Time.
- Lead sessions with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable software solutions.
- Oversee critical document generation in partnership with Legal, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Continuously evaluate workflows to identify friction points, driving system enhancements that improve the employee and manager experience.
- Maintain a rigorous focus on SOX compliance and internal controls.
Requirements
- 13+ years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM (Configuration, Benefits, Compensation, and Advanced Reporting).
- Strong understanding of job architecture, company/cost center hierarchies, and experience navigating HRIS integration during M&A activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel is a must) and familiarity with third-party integrations and data privacy regulations.
- Proven track record operating in an Agile environment using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Expertise in project planning, developing functional specifications, building business cases, and executing rigorous test plans.
