About the role

  • Act as the primary lead for Workday HCM, Reporting, and Performance.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of application solutions, from initial requirement gathering to deployment and release management.
  • Configure and optimize Workday across all modules, including HCM, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Help, Journeys, Talent, and Time.
  • Lead sessions with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable software solutions.
  • Oversee critical document generation in partnership with Legal, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Continuously evaluate workflows to identify friction points, driving system enhancements that improve the employee and manager experience.
  • Maintain a rigorous focus on SOX compliance and internal controls.

Requirements

  • 13+ years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM (Configuration, Benefits, Compensation, and Advanced Reporting).
  • Strong understanding of job architecture, company/cost center hierarchies, and experience navigating HRIS integration during M&A activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel is a must) and familiarity with third-party integrations and data privacy regulations.
  • Proven track record operating in an Agile environment using tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Expertise in project planning, developing functional specifications, building business cases, and executing rigorous test plans.
