About the role

  • Manage day-to-day operations of clinical applications, including phone support, ticket resolution, account creation, and assistance for patients and referring physicians with application portals.
  • Support application worklists, templates, mapping tables, and other healthcare partner needs related to imaging, reports, and system access.
  • Assist in the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of clinical applications.
  • Troubleshoot clinical workflows, processes, compliance issues, and operational inefficiencies.
  • Document and maintain clinical application workflows and procedures.
  • Provide end-user support and training through documentation, instructions, tip sheets, and job aids.
  • Deliver technical support, including diagnosing application errors and coordinating troubleshooting efforts with vendors as needed.
  • Assist with testing, validation, and implementation of workflows within clinical application systems.
  • Maintain current working knowledge of clinical application processes and system functionality.
  • Communicate application changes, issues, and risks to management.
  • Enforce data security and privacy protocols in accordance with healthcare regulations.
  • Must participate in on-call coverage as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Windows-based applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams, as well as other web-based tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, end users, and healthcare partners.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data security regulations and compliance standards.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Commitment to staying current with advancements in clinical applications and healthcare technology.
  • Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end medical imaging operations and clinical application workflows.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience with Intelerad PACS and Royal RIS is a plus.
