About the role

  • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Statement Compiler to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and compliant financial statements for a range of clients, ensuring adherence to relevant accounting principles, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines. Compile accurate and comprehensive financial statements for clients. Ensure compliance with IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, and consolidation requirements. Work closely with client managers, bookkeeping, tax, payroll, and secretarial teams. Maintain high standards of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality in financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Matric with strong results in mathematics and accounting. BAcc or equivalent degree. SAIPA/SAICA membership (or accredited with another professional body). 3–5 years recent experience in an accounting practice environment. Strong knowledge of financials, tax laws, and auditing principles. Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook). Draftworx (Financial statements). Xero, QuickBooks, Sage Online Accounting. SARS E-filing (with EasyFile as an advantage). Dext (Receiptbank), Hubdoc, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox. Payroll: Sage Online Payroll, Payspace, SimplePay. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure. Professional communication in English and Afrikaans. Collaborative and adaptable in a team environment.
