Product Designer

• Managing and developing the design team — running structured 1:1s, setting goals, providing regular feedback, and supporting career development for designers across product and marketing streams
• Driving practical adoption of AI across the team — identifying tools, introducing them into workflows, and ensuring they are used to improve output rather than as isolated experiments
• Hiring as the team grows — defining requirements, running interviews, onboarding new hires
• Running usability tests and user research — using existing tools and processes to test designs, gather evidence, and feed findings into prioritisation and design decisions
• Owning design delivery and SLAs — defining intake processes, setting tiered turnaround SLAs, tracking on-time delivery, and measuring stakeholder satisfaction with design as a function
• Working closely with Product and Marketing to shape work early, clarify requirements, and align on outcomes

Strategy

• Act as a thinking partner to the CEO and leadership team on strategy, leveraging the CEO's time on market scanning
• Maintain a current, segment-level view of the UK retail investor, drawing on existing research, InvestEngine customer data, Analytics and Marketing
• Develop and refresh the house view on where UK retail investing is going next: product trends, emerging categories, competitor positioning and monetisation
• Help shape InvestEngine's business model and monetisation across the value chain, customer-side and supply-side
• Act as a dedicated strategic input to the leadership team across Product and Marketing

• Manage relationships with InvestEngine’s influencer & affiliate partnerships including: Owning regular communication with each partner.
• Keeping our partners up to date with new initiatives and content ideas.
• Reviewing content that partners create to ensure it meets our brand goals and compliance rules.
• Reporting on partner effectiveness including CPA, conversion rates and customer quality generated.
• Prospect new influencer & affiliate partners for InvestEngine to work with.
