O&M Manager – Solar

Software Engineer

• As a SCADA Sr. Project Engineer, you will be on the Construction team, with responsibility for the engineering, procurement support, commissioning, and acceptance of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and associated communications and control infrastructure for thermal generation projects.
• The role requires close coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders to develop conceptual control system designs, manage procurement activities, and oversee detailed design, commissioning, and site acceptance testing through project completion.
• The scope includes DCS and plant IT/OT platforms such as RTACs, RTUs, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), network switches, firewalls, annunciators, HMIs, and all associated connectivity supporting steam turbine, combined-cycle, simple-cycle gas turbine, and geothermal facilities.
• The scope may also include providing support for renewable energy projects, as needed.

Senior Project Engineer, SCADA Engineering – Thermal

Field Engineer

• Perform and train on major component replacements and repair services across the Invenergy fleet
• Assure all operations and maintenance activities are performed in a safe manner
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in multiple equipment platforms
• Train site personnel in Operations activities
• Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs
• Troubleshoot complicated electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems
• Perform equipment and site inspections and compile associated reports
• Complete daily and monthly reporting requirements

Field Service Technician – 100% Travel

• Collaboratively represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group to internal and external parties
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in multiple equipment platforms
• Train site personnel in Operations activities including: Safety, Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, and Ops Support System
• Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs on multiple equipment platforms and component manufacturers
• Troubleshoot complicated electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems
• Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions of multiple equipment platforms
• Perform equipment and site inspections and compile associated reports
• Complete daily and monthly reporting requirements
• Write and revise procedures and documents on how to perform each component replacement
• Assure all activities are performed in a safe manner consistent with Invenergy policies and procedures
• Rotational position travel in 4 week intervals away from home while returning for a week off.

Field Service Technician – 100% Travel, Rotational Position (4 weeks traveling, 1 week off)

General Counsel

• Provide legal support to Invenergy’s project development, engineering, project management, pre-construction and global sourcing teams on a wide variety of construction and procurement agreements
• Familiarity with project finance considerations in project contracts a plus
• As needed, select and manage sophisticated outside counsel
• Ensure consistency across transactions and compliance with internal policies
• Additionally review general commercial contracts for the company
• The position will also provide legal advice and support in other areas of the company as needed and able
• The position will require overtime and travel at times

• Lead and manage the pipeline of SCADA projects through integration and into operations.
• Maintain awareness of project schedules and milestone dates leading up to the operational integration phase.
• Conduct project assessments to determine scope, objectives, and resource requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans, defining deliverables, timelines, milestones, and critical success factors.
• Proactively identify and address potential project risks and issues to maintain project momentum.
• Manage operational project initiatives to improve and modernize the infrastructure supporting the fleet of generation assets.
• Work with SCADA engineers, external vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate project activities, resolve conflicts, and manage expectations.
• Ensure seamless communication between all parties involved in the project.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, status updates, diagrams, and division-of-responsibility matrices.
• Present project status and performance metrics to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members.

SCADA Project Manager

Electrical Engineer

• As a SCADA Project Engineer, you will be on the construction team responsible for the engineering, procurement and commissioning of supervisory control & data acquisition (SCADA) systems and associated communications infrastructure related to cutting-edge renewable energy projects.
• You will be responsible for coordinating with multiple stakeholders to develop conceptual designs.
• You will be responsible for managing the procurement, final detailed designs, commissioning, and acceptance testing on renewable energy projects.
• The SCADA & IT systems of these projects may include RTACs, RTUs, plant controllers, network switches, firewalls, annunciators, HMIs and all associated connectivity on wind, solar and battery storage renewable energy projects.

Compliance

• Oversee, with support from your manager, consultants conducting biological surveys, which includes reviewing proposals, managing survey timelines, and ensuring survey methodologies follow wildlife agency input and satisfy permit conditions/project needs.
• Review technical reports provided by consultants. Reports typically include, but are not limited to: habitat evaluations, desktop environmental screenings, threatened/endangered/sensitive species surveys, wetland delineations, avian and bat use surveys, and post-construction monitoring studies.
• Conduct environmental due diligence for development and acquisition opportunities, focusing on wildlife and aquatic resources.
• Maintain a complete and organized project record to demonstrate compliance with federal and state wildlife regulations.
• Provide review and support for engineering design to ensure compatibility with project commitments/requirements.
• Identify and communicate project needs, schedules, and risks across project support teams.
• Work collaboratively and efficiently with internal teams and external parties (e.g., consultants) to execute project work on schedule and develop strategies to address environmental-related risks.
• Maintain relationships and support federal and state regulatory agency coordination
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of environmental policy, regulation and compliance that affect permitting and impacts on project siting and compliance.
• Participate in regional and national initiatives, symposia, conferences, and industry groups as needed to achieve Company objectives.
