Maintain general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
Prepare contract entries in Maxio to ensure proper revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606 standards.
Assist the Senior Director of Finance with ASC 606 SSP research and internal cost calculations.
Oversee billing and collections processes within Maxio, ensuring accuracy and timely receipt of payments.
Prepare monthly consolidated financial reports that are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and provide commentary on variance and flux analysis.
Establish, document, and maintain internal controls over financial reporting.
Support sales tax activities by monitoring physical and economic nexus across all applicable states and filing monthly sales tax returns in compliance with relevant regulations.
Prepare and update revenue forecasts throughout the year to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Assist in the preparation for the annual audit, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and audit ready.
Handle client billables and support ongoing client billing operations.
Assist with payroll processing and related reconciliations.
Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to promote alignment across departments on financial matters.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of recent experience as a Senior-Level Accountant or equivalent, plus 2+ years of experience within a SaaS environment
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong working knowledge of Excel formulas
Proficient in QuickBooks; experience with Maxio is a plus
