About the role

  • - Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • - Develop efficient and maintainable Oracle PL/SQL and APEX applications, including backend data processing, integration, and database optimization.
  • - Troubleshoot and resolve application and database issues, optimize SQL queries, and ensure data integrity.
  • - Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
  • - Prepare and produce releases of software components.
  • - Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Requirements

  • - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • - Demonstrated practical experience in Software Development.
  • - Substantial experience in PL/SQL development.
  • - Experience developing and customizing Oracle APEX applications with knowledge of APEX components, interactive grids, dynamic actions, and APEX architecture.
  • - Skilled in writing efficient, modular, and optimized PL/SQL code, including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and complex queries.
  • - Strong understanding of Relational Databases and Oracle SQL.
  • - Experience in working with RESTful web services, API integration, and middleware technologies (e.g., ORDS, SOAP, JSON, XML).
  • - Experience with test-driven development methodologies.
  • - Will be considered a plus: Experience with Oracle Forms development and customization.
  • - Familiarity with data warehousing, BI reporting, and Oracle BI Publisher.
  • - Proficiency in advanced Oracle Database features, such as Autonomous Database optimization and cloud integration.
