About the role
- Sell Intrepid Travel’s unique, socially responsible experiences to customers
- Provide outstanding service across phone, email, and live chat
- Deliver unforgettable trips from the first enquiry through to departure
- Respond to leads and achieve sales targets
- Provide expert advice on Intrepid products and destinations
- Support colleagues and assist in training new team members
- Contribute to campaigns and promotions that drive growth
- Work on a hybrid pattern of 2-3 days per week onsite, operating on a 7-day rotating schedule
Requirements
- Experience in sales or customer service, ideally in the travel industry
- Fluent in English, written and spoken (and fluent German if applying for our German-Speaking Sales Consultant role)
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and KPIs
- Passion for travel and strong knowledge of Intrepid products and destinations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Starship, Salesforce, or other CRM/reservation systems is desirable
