About the role

  • Sell Intrepid Travel’s unique, socially responsible experiences to customers
  • Provide outstanding service across phone, email, and live chat
  • Deliver unforgettable trips from the first enquiry through to departure
  • Respond to leads and achieve sales targets
  • Provide expert advice on Intrepid products and destinations
  • Support colleagues and assist in training new team members
  • Contribute to campaigns and promotions that drive growth
  • Work on a hybrid pattern of 2-3 days per week onsite, operating on a 7-day rotating schedule

Requirements

  • Experience in sales or customer service, ideally in the travel industry
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken (and fluent German if applying for our German-Speaking Sales Consultant role)
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and KPIs
  • Passion for travel and strong knowledge of Intrepid products and destinations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Starship, Salesforce, or other CRM/reservation systems is desirable
