About the role
- Lead the creation of itineraries, sourcing of suppliers, and planning of trips that balance customer expectations with commercial goals
- Work closely with local partners, negotiate costs, and ensure our adventures meet the highest standards for quality, safety, and sustainability
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of regional trip operations, preferably for small group adventures
- 5+ years’ experience in the tourism industry, in product, sales, commercial, or operational roles
- Proven experience creating commercially viable itineraries, including pricing, accommodation, transportation, activities, and meal components
- Experience working with DMCs and tourism suppliers, including cost negotiation
- Familiarity with travel systems (e.g., Kaptio, Travel Studio, Elements) and Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Strong understanding of global travel trends and customer expectations
- Experience in strategic planning and implementing successful product initiatives
- Proactive approach with the ability to work across teams and influence outcomes
- Strong commercial acumen, translating into clear sales and profitability results
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and adapt your style to different stakeholders
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to deliver to deadlines
- Ability to foster strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners
