About the role
- Lead and grow a high-performing sales team, driving revenue while building a supportive, collaborative, and values-led sales culture
- Responsible for leading, motivating, and developing the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
- Focus on coaching, performance management, and learning and development
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, plans, and campaigns
- Work closely with teams across the business and regions, contributing to global sales initiatives
- Ensure local execution aligns with broader commercial priorities
- Build strong relationships with key partners and represent Intrepid at industry events
Requirements
- Proven success in sales management, ideally within the travel industry
- Strong leadership and people management experience, with a focus on coaching and team development
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through effective sales strategy and execution
- Experience planning resourcing to meet demand, performance targets and SLAs
- Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Passion for travel and a strong understanding of Intrepid’s products and destinations
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, analytical and results-focused mindset
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and strong Microsoft Office skills
