• Analyse variances and report KPIs
• Own the full P2P process (PO to payment)
• Manage accruals, creditors and purchasing controls
• Maintain loan and interest schedules
• Manage bank relationships and reconciliations
• Support cashflow forecasting
• Prepare audit schedules and statutory accounts
• Prepare VAT returns and support tax advisors
• Ensure payroll compliance and prepare bonus/commission calculations
• Review payrolls and related returns
• Monitor and report on staff costs
• Maintain fixed asset and goodwill registers
• Manage intra-group recharges
• Support acquisition accounting
• Manage and develop the Assistant Accountant
• Build strong relationships with auditors and internal stakeholders
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making

• Prepare robust management accounts which are compliant with local GAAP and internal policies and procedures.
• Responsible for full purchasing process from purchase order to payment.
• Maintain loan and interest schedules.
• Prepare schedules for the annual audit process.
• Track changes in staff costs and explain variances.
• Ensure accurate fixed asset registers are maintained.
• Prepare VAT returns.
• Train, coach and motivate the assistant accountant.
• Provide insightful financial information to key stakeholders.
