About the role
- Assist attorneys and senior paralegals with documentation for debt, tax equity, tax credit transfers, corporate financing, and M&A
- Review project and corporate records to create and update disclosure schedules and other financing deliverables
- Maintain well-organized transaction files, ensuring documents are named, filed, and accessible
- Prepare and coordinate construction loan draws, bringdowns, and related deliverables
- File UCC financing statements, conduct UCC searches, and manage other required corporate filings
- Manage checklists, signature packets, and execution of documents for financial transactions
- Coordinate with counterparties, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders to support negotiations and ancillary documentation
- Compile and distribute executed documents and track post-closing obligations
- Maintain transaction status reports and other tracking tools
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and workflows
- Provide general support across the Legal team to help meet deadlines and priorities
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience supporting complex transactions
- Corporate, transactional, or finance paralegal experience—experience in renewables, data centers, or infrastructure finance is a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and follow through reliably
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with composure under pressure and responsiveness to shifting priorities
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely
- A collaborative mindset, sense of humor, and ability to thrive in a dynamic team setting
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, Adobe, and the ability to learn additional platforms as needed
