About the role

  • Collaborate in concept development and system design of electronic and electromechanical assemblies, systems, and interfaces
  • Analyze requirements
  • Product development: electronic circuit design (schematics)
  • PCB/PCBA layout design
  • Specify wiring harness components
  • Support specification of HW/SW interfaces and preparation of technical requirements/specifications
  • Support creation of test concepts for PCB/PCBA validation (durability, EMC/EMI, stress testing, etc.) and for series production (quality assurance)
  • Cooperate with internal and external development partners
  • Act as technical contact for suppliers and production sites
  • Provide technical support for the construction, commissioning, and testing of prototypes and verification measurements of electronic assemblies and devices
  • Develop processes and documentation in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements
  • Design, develop, and validate embedded hardware systems based on microcontrollers, DSPs, and communication interfaces
  • Perform schematic design and PCB/PCBA layout using Altium Designer
  • Develop and integrate communication electronics (e.g., UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, LIN, NFC, Ethernet, IO-Link, industrial fieldbuses)
  • Conduct electronic simulations and analyses (analog, digital, power, and signal integrity)
  • Define and implement hardware bring-up, testing, and debugging procedures
  • Collaborate with firmware engineers to ensure seamless hardware–software integration
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC, IPC, UL, EMC/EMI, safety, reliability; automotive/industrial standards where applicable)
  • Support prototype assembly, verification, and validation through PCB/PCBA manufacturing processes
  • Contribute to documentation, design reviews, and continuous product improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in embedded hardware development
  • Proficiency in schematic design and PCB/PCBA layout using Altium Designer
  • Strong knowledge of microcontroller-based system design, including power supply design
  • Experience with circuit simulation tools (e.g., LTSpice, PSpice, Multisim, MATLAB/Simulink)
  • Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design (op-amps, ADC/DAC, filters, power regulation)
  • Proven expertise in EMI/EMC design techniques and compliance-oriented hardware design
  • Familiarity with PCBA manufacturing processes (DFM/DFT, BOM preparation, assembly constraints, test strategy)
  • Practical debugging experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and other lab equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize hardware designs for performance, cost, and reliability
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in cross-functional teams
