About the role

  • Work closely with the Sales Team to gather technical and business requirements from prospects to determine product fit and demonstrate business value
  • Create technical documentation and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to support technical wins
  • Coordinate with engineering, consulting, and product management to assemble optimal virtual teams for opportunities
  • Attend meetings with potential clients to determine technical and business requirements
  • Create and confidently deliver technical and business-relevant presentations to prospects at Developer, Architect, CIO and CTO levels
  • Qualify sales opportunities based on assessment of requirements vs product capabilities
  • Articulate technical and practical benefits of the interop.io product line and address competitive challenges
  • Own and manage PoC engagements, implement and demonstrate technical solutions
  • Deliver ad-hoc technical knowledge transfer on platform features
  • Liaise with Product Management to provide feedback on issues and feature requests
  • Build productive and trustworthy relationships internally and externally through responsiveness and problem solving

Requirements

  • 5 years+ of presales experience working in a B2B software infrastructure company
  • History of over-achievement against individual and/or team goals
  • Familiarity with integration concepts
  • Able to code in one of Java or .NET plus JavaScript
  • Able to define, document and manage and deliver Proof of Concept
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English
  • Ability to work remotely and engage with other resources to acquire knowledge and develop skills
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with ‘Challenger Sales’ techniques
  • Nice to have: Experience of TypeScript
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with OTel infrastructures
  • Nice to have: Exposure to financial services markets – specifically trading and asset management use-cases
