About the role
- Work in a call center environment supporting several air fulfillment departments
- Schedule Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30am Pacific Time (role notes flexible shifts Monday-Friday between 9:00am-8:00pm EST)
- Service incoming calls from direct consumers and travel agents providing flight options and accurate pricing
- Ensure proper documentation of all airline and department requirements
- Book air in GDS (Sabre) and assist with seat assignments, mileage numbers, TSA PreCheck and Global Entry
- Provide excellent customer service via phone and email; respond to emails and GDS queues within SLA
- Accurately interpret air requirements and negotiate and ticket group contracts
- Serve as backup to Advisor Assist and Advisor Coverage desks; support Paid Services & Groups Desks
- Assist with researching and correcting Agresso errors and special projects as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Sabre experience with booking and ticketing duties
- Other GDS experience helpful
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of Airline and industry policies
- Ability to think outside the box in shopping and troubleshooting scenarios
- Strong Microsoft Skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Flexible schedule with shifts Monday through Friday between 9:00am-8:00pm EST
