About the role
- Identify, evaluate, and establish high-value partnerships across airlines, hotels, ground transportation providers, travel tech platforms, and ancillary service providers.
- Revenue Growth: Drive incremental revenue and margin opportunities through co-branded initiatives, joint ventures, and enhanced partner offerings.
- Contract Negotiation & Management: Lead high-stakes negotiations, structure commercial terms, and ensure favorable contractual outcomes aligned with company objectives.
- Ecosystem Management: Build and manage a diversified portfolio of global partners; monitor performance, compliance, and ROI.
- Innovation & Integration: Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to co-create integrated travel solutions and seamless customer experiences.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing partnerships team; mentor talent and foster a results-oriented, collaborative culture.
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify new partnership opportunities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key liaison with internal stakeholders and C-level executives to align partnership strategies with broader business goals.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or supplier relations, preferably within the corporate travel, hospitality, or travel tech industry.
- Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and managing high-value partnerships that drive commercial outcomes.
- Strong network within the global travel ecosystem (e.g., TMCs, GDSs, suppliers, aggregators, fintech, or expense platforms).
- Executive presence with outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong financial acumen and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience in cross-functional leadership and managing global or distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
