About the role
- Offer best in class travel consultation to Altour clients
- Quote and book accurate domestic & international air, car and hotel reservations
- Service inbound corporate travel requests in a virtual call center environment
- Deliver extraordinary customer service to all Altour clients
- Greet all clients with enthusiasm and provide consultative service throughout booking process
- Complete all reservations in an accurate and timely manner
- Follow applicable guidelines around Federal and State travel requirements, including the Fly America Act
- Secure the lowest air/car/hotel rates available at time of booking
- Utilize client and Travel Leaders negotiated programs when applicable and GDS low fare search capabilities
- Maintain productivity, quality, and customer experience goal expectations
Requirements
- Must pass GDS assessment
- Typing speed of at least 45 WPM
- 5 years’ travel selling experience
- 5+ years’ customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry
- Exceptional/above & beyond, proactive customer service approach
- Excellent travel industry knowledge
- Mastery in Sabre GDS
- GDS formats, short cuts, enhancements, pricing
- Corporate travel experience required
- Experience in international travel bookings and process
- Experienced handling of multiple accounts
- Exceptional communication skills both written and oral
- Leadership abilities and ability to provide constructive feedback
- Ability to follow Federal and State travel requirements (e.g., Fly America Act)
