About the role

  • At ALTOUR, we believe people are the driving force behind every meaningful connection - our clients’ and our own. Responsible for arranging travel arrangements for transferred employees and business travelers from Toyota Motor Corporation and its group companies, supporting Japanese business travelers during their U.S. stay for Toyota operations launch/model change, ensuring projects proceed as planned. Operational: Research, create, execute itineraries; manage time; review needs and budgets; resolve complaints; build client relationships; provide timely information; attend seminars; maintain data; work with team; attend clients outside office or other state as needed; support emergencies; business trips to other states. Sales & Marketing: Create promotional materials; conduct market research; assist marketing activities (content development, advertising, events); post updates on company website and social media. Customer Service/Reservation: Ensure travelers adhere to company policies; inform supervisor of non-compliance; offer advice and arrange leisure trips; collect payments. Other Duties: Duties may change at any time with or without notice.

Requirements

  • Degree from Junior College or higher and work experience in a travel agency or client service, reservations, or sales experience in a company in related industries, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with Japanese client service customs. Language Skills (English and Japanese) Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients or employees of organizations. Mathematical Skills Ability to add subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Word Processing software: Word Presentation software: PowerPoint Spreadsheet software: Excel Internet software Project Management software: Teams Other software: Travel Reservation system Other Skills and Abilities Fluency in reading, writing and speaking Japanese. Other Qualifications Need to work overtime or on weekends/holidays in case of an emergency or if there is a problem.
