About the role
- Lead and manage the operations delivery and collateral management teams
- Oversee mortgage investor delivery, collateral, and transaction management processes
- Ensure accurate and timely management of collateral documentation
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for smooth operations
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Contribute to the company's strategic plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mortgage operations
- Strong knowledge of mortgage lending and servicing processes
- Proven experience with both non-agency and agency loan delivery
- Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams
- Experience challenging the status-quo and maximizing efficiency
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work cross functionally and manage in a matrix reporting relationship
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Familiarity with mortgage technology platforms and systems
- Strong project management skills
