About the role

  • Design and implementation of innovative IT solutions in the energy sector
  • Alignment of customer requirements and translation into actionable user stories
  • Development of concepts and digital solutions from the SAP solution portfolio (in particular SAP S/4HANA for Utilities, SAP IS-U, SAP Customer Experience)
  • Development of software components using modern planning tools
  • Customizing SAP cloud and on-premise solutions
  • Further development of our software products, SAP add-ons, and apps
  • Application of tailored agile and Design Thinking–inspired project methodologies

Requirements

  • A degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
  • Excellent German and English skills
  • Knowledge of the SAP solution portfolio and other software solutions for the energy industry is an advantage
  • Experience with utility processes and knowledge in the implementation and enhancement of utility-specific SAP systems is an advantage
  • Experience in (SAP) data migration projects is an advantage
  • Experience with Java and JavaScript, web application development, and knowledge of ABAP-OO or PHP is an advantage
  • Project experience or market knowledge in the utility sector, e.g., metering, billing, customer service, energy data management, or market communication
