About the role

  • Participation in developer teams and projects related to device management, metering and market communication processes
  • Analysis, optimization and further development of business processes in the context of smart metering systems, market communication and device management
  • Analysis and development of functional requirements together with the client’s business units
  • Preparation of IT concepts and facilitation of functional and process workshops with clients
  • Customizing and programming of functional and technical requirements
  • Development of new consulting approaches and products in the topic area
  • Development and extension of web services

Requirements

  • Completed degree or equivalent qualification; ideally experience in energy industry consulting and project environments
  • Experience in ABAP programming and with SAP’s Common Layer framework
  • Knowledge of SAP systems in the energy sector (SAP IS‑U), particularly in metering and market communication (SAP IM4G and IDEX)
  • Architectural knowledge in smart metering and experience in defining and optimizing processes for intelligent metering systems (iMSys) is an advantage
  • Experience in agile project management (Scrum)
  • Good German and English language skills
